SOUND LIKE A PIPE DREAM RIGHT NOW? NOT ANYMORE.
That’s how the saying goes, isn’t it?
I’ve been a bridesmaid 8 times and counting, worked behind the scenes in the wedding industry for 5 years, and have spent countless hours researching, curating, shopping, fine-tuning, and designing.
So trust me when I tell you, when it comes to planning a stress-free wedding — I know what I’m talking about, no matter what your budget, location, or timeline is.
(Well, if not, it should—at least when we’re talking about my involvement with the wedding industry over the past decade).
WEDDING PLANNER + WEDDING SHOP CURATOR
You’re a driven, design-minded, creatively inspired, Type A bride who values simple elegance and personal touches.
You want your wedding day to echo your personal style and philosophy. Even though you’re planning most of it on your own, you’re still craving a wedding with a luxury feel at a manageable price point.
I created this site to help inspire, teach, and support you as you plan the wedding you’ve been picturing forever and a day. But, most importantly, I set out to make you feel like it IS possible to DIY your wedding while staying true to yourself, and your vision.
You’ve probably noticed that a lot of sites you’ve found have either been planners talking to other planners, or brides talking to other brides.
But what about all the expertise that us planners have, and you brides need?!
(And, more importantly: what about the fashion-forward, design-focused, attainable-luxury brides who are DIYing, that the rest of the Internet seems to overlook?)
What I'm
loving
Using travel as inspo for planning my couples’ weddings. There’s nothing more beautiful to me than the architecture of a new place, or the local style of a new culture, or the ‘clean-slate’ wave of inspiration that washes over me every time I visit somewhere I’ve never been.
What I'm
learning
All the latest tips, trends, and strategies for stress-free wedding planning. I stay up to date with continuing my education — always listening to all the wedding biz podcasts, reading about current trends, and finding new ways to elevate the admin side of it all.
what I
believe
It is absolutely possible to plan your wedding yourself, and still have it look exactly how you want it to.
as a planner
I still send my family and friends handwritten letters and postcards
I have one eyebrow that has a complete personality of her own (am I alone here?!)
I’m an adrenaline junkie
I once got so excited to see Girl Scouts selling cookies that they were afraid to sell to me
as a person
Drooling over European fashion
crossing off your travel bucket list
let me guess...
Staying at boutique hotels
Testing new beauty products
Binge-watching Southern Charm
(If you’re thinking “okay, how does she know literally everything about me?” it’s probably because that’s my ideal way to spend my time, too. That’s why I know how important it is to streamline your wedding planning process — so you can get back to spending your free time the way you actually enjoy.)

I know what it’s like to have a taste for something you can’t afford; a desire to have a certain aesthetic but no means to pay for the obvious version.
I lived on my sister’s dorm room floor for an entire semester, commuting 2 hours into NYC for work. I slept on a stack of yoga mats on the floor, eating canned food, leaving her dorm at 3am, calling to wake up the only cab driver in Poughkeepsie to drive me to the train, so I could make it to the city for the first of my 3 jobs that I worked simultaneously.
Not an ideal scenario — but I had a 6:30am client, and I wasn’t missing it. If that’s not proof that I will truly do whatever it takes to get what I want, I don’t know what is.
Happy hour plans with my friends who work in finance with endless money? Guess I’ll eat 50-cent bananas from the fruit cart so I can afford it. Want a luxury-looking apartment style? Guess I’ll carry this 5x7 rug on my shoulders all the way from 34th to 10th. Career of my dreams? Working as many hours as humanly possible to get there, obviously.
Probably because you have a similar “I’ll get this done, no matter what, because this is what I imagined for myself” attitude, too. And I love that about you.
